The Founder

Hi, I'm Ross. I built Speechcraft after writing my own best man speech a few years ago.

It took me months. I rewrote it constantly. I tried it on friends, family, anyone who'd sit through it, and by the time of the actual wedding, half the room had already heard it. I tried using ChatGPT to speed things up and it sounded exactly like ChatGPT: smooth, generic, and nothing like how I actually talk.

I built Speechcraft to be the tool I wish I'd had. Something that sounds like the person giving the speech, lands the right tone for the moment, and is constructed properly so it actually works on the day.

I'm based in the UK and I write and test every speech engine on this site myself. I read every test speech aloud, time them with a stopwatch, and refuse to launch a new speech type until I'm satisfied it'll work for someone real.
